Detecting Ice on Wind-turbine Blades uses microwave detection technology to monitor the icing information in the sensor sensitive area based on the difference in feedback information of microwave signals to different substances such as ice, water, and air, and calculates the ice thickness based on the strength of the signal and the distribution of ice in the sensor area. This product is generally installed on the blades of wind turbines. By measuring the ice coverage on this sensor, the ice coverage at the current blade position can be determined.
