Road Surface Temperature Sensor Product Introduction
Road Surface Temperature Sensor is an integrated infrared thermometer. The optical system and electronic circuitry are integrated within a metal housing. The protective cover is easy to install, and the 90° adjustable bracket allows for installation and uninterrupted measurement under various field conditions.
Internally, the Road Surface Temperature Sensor consists of a thermopile and a thermistor. All objects continuously emit infrared radiation energy into the surrounding space. By measuring the infrared energy emitted by an object, its surface temperature can be accurately determined; this is the principle of non-contact infrared thermometry. The infrared thermometer can calculate the surface temperature of an object without any contact with the target, by measuring the intensity of the infrared radiation emitted by the target—this is its greatest advantage.
Road Surface Temperature Sensor Applications
Long-distance measurement of highway pavement temperature
Bridge deck temperature monitoring
Plant canopy temperature monitoring
Grass temperature, soil surface temperature, or snow surface temperature monitoring

Precipitation is a key component of the hydrological cycle. Accurate and timely rainfall data has irreplaceable value for water resource management, flood disaster warning, agricultural irrigation, and climate research. Traditional manual rainfall measurement methods have limitations in timeliness,...
In modern meteorological monitoring, while traditional fixed weather stations have established basic monitoring networks, they often fall short in responding to sudden weather events, remote area monitoring, and temporary meteorological services. With the intensification of climate change and freque...
In an era when tourism is booming, tourists are no longer satisfied with just beautiful scenery. They are paying increasing attention to the environmental quality of scenic spots, especially the air quality. Thus, the negative oxygen ion monitoring system has become an indispensable part of modern s...
As a special section in the transportation network, tunnels, with their enclosed environment, are susceptible to factors such as vehicle exhaust, air flow changes, and light differences. Professional monitoring equipment is therefore needed to ensure traffic safety. The following introduces four key...
