Visibility is an important indicator reflecting the transparency of the atmosphere, and its monitoring data can be applied in many fields. For example, in the transportation field, accurate visibility data can ensure the safe operation of transportation modes such as aviation, navigation, and highways, and prevent traffic accidents caused by low visibility. In the meteorological field, visibility monitoring is a key link in meteorological early warning, which helps to predict disaster weather such as fog and sandstorms in advance and provides a basis for disaster prevention and mitigation.
The coastal area has a harsh environment with high salt content and humidity in the air, which has strong corrosiveness to equipment. Therefore, a Visibility sensor made of stainless steel with strong corrosion resistance is required. The FT-N10A2 Visibility sensor is designed to meet this demand. It has a stainless steel body, with good corrosion resistance and stability, and can effectively resist the erosion of harsh environments such as high salt and humidity, ensuring that the equipment can operate stably for a long time in coastal areas.
The FT-N10A2 Visibility sensor has many advantages. Firstly, it can be optionally equipped with a weather phenomenon detection module, which can identify precipitation and snowfall types, distinguish weather phenomena such as drizzle, light rain, moderate rain, and heavy rain. It can also be optionally equipped with a rainfall detection module to measure the intensity and cumulative amount of precipitation, thus achieving multiple functions with one device and providing users with more comprehensive meteorological information. Secondly, the sensor has a sturdy and simple structure, good working stability, high reliability, low energy consumption, and is convenient for use and maintenance. It can be powered by a DC12-30V power supply, and the optical lens of the instrument is equipped with an automatic heating control module, enabling it to work normally even in extreme environments such as severe cold. Thirdly, the measurement range of the FT-N10A2 is 10m-10Km, and it can be extended to a longer distance. The measurement accuracy can reach different levels such as ±2%, ±5%, and ±10% within different visibility ranges. The communication baud rate is 4800-19200, and the digital communication interface is RS485/RS232. The analog output interface can be optionally voltage output or current output, and the communication protocol adopts ModBus and ASCII, which can adapt to various complex usage scenarios and different communication requirements. Finally, it is mainly applied to industries such as highways, ships, drilling platforms, waterways, ports, wind power generation, and automatic weather stations, providing strong support for the safe operation and meteorological monitoring of various industries.
