The Small automatic weather station can collect meteorological data in real time, which is crucial for meteorological research and disaster prevention. Now, let's introduce its installation method to you.
Preparation before Installation
First of all, select a suitable site. Choose an open and flat place all around, avoiding valleys, high-rise buildings and interference sources, and ensure that the ground soil is representative. Then, carefully check the equipment to ensure that all components are complete and undamaged. On the other hand, prepare installation tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers. According to the requirements of different instruments, construct the observation field and the instrument base. The observation field is usually a square with a side length of not less than 25 meters, and the instrument base is commonly cast with concrete.
Equipment Installation
The wind speed sensor should be installed on an open pole 10 meters above the ground. The installation height of the wind direction sensor is slightly higher than that of the wind cups. The temperature and humidity sensors should be placed inside a Stevenson screen 1.5 meters above the ground, and the door of the screen should face north. The rain gauge sensor should be installed in an unobstructed place, and the rain collecting mouth should be kept horizontal. The data collector should be placed in a dry and ventilated room, and connect the cables of the sensors properly. If it is powered by solar energy, the solar panel should be installed facing south, and the storage battery should be protected against moisture. Install communication devices such as GPRS/CDMA modules according to the communication method.
System Debugging and Acceptance
After the installation is completed, carry out hardware debugging, check the connection and working status of the equipment, and test the power supply and current. Configure the data processing software, calibrate the sensor data, and ensure the accuracy of the data. Test the communication equipment to ensure that the data can be transmitted smoothly to the monitoring center. Finally, conduct a comprehensive acceptance. Once it passes the acceptance, it can be put into use.
Finally, even after the installation of the Small automatic weather station is completed, we should not take it lightly. Regular maintenance is required, including checking the operation of the equipment, cleaning the sensors, replacing the aging components, etc., to ensure its stable operation and continuous provision of accurate meteorological data.
