Precipitation is a key component of the hydrological cycle. Accurate and timely rainfall data has irreplaceable value for water resource management, flood disaster warning, agricultural irrigation, and climate research. Traditional manual rainfall measurement methods have limitations in timeliness, continuity, and coverage density. With the development of IoT and sensor technology, rainfall measuring equipment has emerged, enabling all-weather, automated, and remote monitoring of rainfall processes, providing real-time and accurate data support for core decision-making. As an industry manufacturer, FengTu has launched a variety of rainfall measuring equipment based on different technical principles to meet diverse application scenario needs.
Introduction to FengTu's Rainfall Measuring Equipment
FT-YJ1 Tipping Bucket Rainfall Monitoring Station: This product adopts classic tipping bucket sensor technology to measure rainfall. Its core working principle is that when rainfall reaches 0.2 millimeters, the bucket tips once and generates a signal for measurement. It can monitor rainfall status, rainfall amount at different time intervals, and daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cumulative rainfall, suitable for meteorology, flood control, agriculture, and other fields requiring long-term stable monitoring.
FT-YJ2 Piezoelectric Rainfall Monitor: FT-YJ2 uses PVDF piezoelectric film as the core rain-sensing component. It works by sensing the kinetic energy of raindrop impacts and uses embedded AI neural network algorithms to distinguish raindrops from other interference signals, thereby reducing false alarms. This technical approach enables a maintenance-free design with a resolution of 0.01 millimeters.
FT-YJ3 Optical Rainfall Monitoring Station: This product utilizes the principle of infrared optical scanning. It measures rainfall with high precision through a pure sine wave infrared light source and rain-sensing surface, not easily affected by high-intensity natural light, and also features maintenance-free operation and automatic horizontal calibration.
FT-YLJC Rainfall Monitor: This is also a rainfall station based on the tipping bucket principle, emphasizing its ultra-long standby capability, capable of continuous operation for five years without battery replacement. It also supports wireless data transmission and solar power supply, suitable for deployment in field environments without municipal power supply.
FengTu's rainfall monitoring product line covers various technologies including tipping bucket, piezoelectric, and optical types. When making a selection, the following factors can be considered:
Monitoring Requirements - Clarify specific requirements for data accuracy, resolution, and whether rainfall intensity differentiation is needed.
Usage Environment - Consider the climatic conditions of the installation site (such as temperature range), availability of municipal power supply, and maintenance convenience.
Budget and Maintenance - Evaluate initial equipment investment and long-term maintenance costs.

Rain, fog, and other harsh weather conditions are major "adversaries" threatening traffic safety. Low visibility in particular severely impairs drivers' vision, highly increasing the risk of traffic accidents and causing casualties and property losses. The emergence of Atmospheric Visi...
In conventional understanding, atmospheric visibility is influenced by subjective factors, but it is essentially an objective phenomenon. In meteorology, this phenomenon is defined by optical path length: specifically, it refers to the distance a parallel light beam (emitted by an incandescent lamp...
Road Weather Sensors are automated ground-based meteorological observation devices. They emit electromagnetic waves in specific bands (such as laser or infrared light) or utilize optical imaging technology to detect the characteristics of atmospheric particles like precipitation, fog droplets, and d...
Agricultural Weather Stations are small automatic weather stations specifically designed for agricultural ecological environments, aimed at monitoring the energy and material exchange between agricultural production environments and agricultural organisms. They can monitor various meteorological elem...
