The online monitoring system for transmission lines is compatible with power transmission towers and can collect various meteorological parameters of the line area in real time. It transmits the data wirelessly to the monitoring center, intelligently analyzes potential hazards, and sends mobile phone alarms. Utilizing patented technology, it ensures the safe and stable operation and maintenance of transmission lines in the field.

Transmission lines are exposed to complex outdoor environments for extended periods, making them highly susceptible to meteorological factors such as strong winds, heavy rainfall, and snow. Frequent faults such as short circuits, tripping, and tower collapses directly disrupt the stability of the power grid, affecting industrial production and daily electricity consumption. Therefore, routine monitoring of the meteorological environment of transmission lines has become a core task of power grid operation and maintenance. The online monitoring system for transmission lines is specifically developed for monitoring the local meteorological environment along transmission line corridors. It can be customized and installed at different power transmission tower locations according to actual operation and maintenance needs, adapting to various outdoor transmission scenarios.

The online monitoring system for power transmission lines integrates a six-element integrated sensing module, enabling simultaneous and accurate collection of core meteorological data within the monitoring area, including wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and rainfall. Utilizing advanced sensing technology, it achieves real-time wind speed measurement without startup, ensuring comprehensive and efficient data acquisition. The equipment incorporates two core patented technologies: a concealed ultrasonic probe structure to avoid interference from rain, snow accumulation, and natural wind obstruction; and a variable-frequency ultrasonic phase detection principle, significantly improving the accuracy of wind speed and direction monitoring, adapting to complex and variable field weather environments.

The online monitoring system employs a solar-powered self-powered mode, coupled with dual wireless transmission methods of GPRS and fiber optics. It can upload collected meteorological data to the monitoring center in real time, 24/7. The backend performs intelligent analysis and judgment of the data. Once meteorological anomalies or potential line operation hazards are identified, alarm information can be pushed to the mobile terminals of designated management personnel immediately, enabling early detection and early handling of hazards. The equipment is highly integrated with no moving parts, resulting in zero wear and tear during operation. Its built-in watchdog circuit allows for automatic reset, providing outstanding anti-interference capabilities and ensuring long-term stable operation.

Compared to traditional manual inspection, the online monitoring system for transmission lines requires no on-site calibration and is maintenance-free, significantly reducing the manpower and time costs of power grid operation and maintenance. It effectively compensates for the shortcomings of limited coverage and delayed hazard identification in manual inspections, providing reliable technical support for the power sector to carry out refined, intelligent, and routine safety management of transmission lines, and comprehensively improving the power grid's ability to withstand meteorological disasters.
