Microclimate refers to the special climate formed in the atmosphere of a local area, which is different from the macroclimate, due to differences in underlying surface factors such as surface properties, terrain, and vegetation. Compared with the macroclimate, the microclimate is closer to human production and daily life, and has a direct impact on crop growth, the occurrence of pests and diseases, the ecological environment, etc. For example, within the same region, there may be significant differences in climatic elements such as temperature and humidity between the foot and the top of a mountain, as well as between the sunny and shady slopes.
Although weather forecasts can provide meteorological information over a large area, their accuracy is limited, making it difficult to precisely grasp the climatic conditions of specific small areas. In agricultural production, the soil, vegetation and other conditions vary in different plots of land, leading to differences in microclimate. Precise monitoring of the microclimate helps to achieve precision agriculture and improve the yield and quality of crops. In the field of scientific research, such as ecosystem research and pest prediction, detailed microclimate data is also required to support the research. Therefore, on the basis of weather forecasts, it is still of great significance to monitor the microclimate independently.
The FT-NQ8 Agricultural Weather Station is a high-precision meteorological observation device.
It is equipped with a variety of meteorological sensors, including wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and rainfall, etc., which can comprehensively monitor multiple elements of the microclimate. It also supports the expansion of modbus485 sensors, allowing for the flexible addition of other sensors according to actual monitoring needs.
The static power consumption is less than 50uA. With a solar power supply system and MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) function, it can operate stably for a long time in the field without a power source, reducing the cost of using the equipment and its dependence on the environment.
It is standardly equipped with GPRS networking and also supports the expansion of multiple communication methods such as Bluetooth and wired transmission, enabling real-time data transmission and remote monitoring. It is equipped with a seven-inch Android touch screen, which is convenient for users to view and set the equipment parameters on site.
It uses a three-meter carbon steel support with a two-section threaded connection, which is easy to install and stable. The protective box made of stainless steel has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and an IP66 waterproof rating, etc., which can effectively withstand harsh environmental conditions and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

In precipitation measurement, while rain gauges and tipping-bucket rain sensors enable convenient and accurate fixed-point observation, their coverage density is generally low in remote areas with sparse human population due to constraints on deployment conditions. This makes it difficult to effecti...
In the current era when the concepts of ecotourism and healthy living are widely spread, natural oxygen bars have become popular leisure destinations for people. As a key facility for measuring and maintaining the ecological quality of these areas, the Environmental Monitoring Station demonstrates t...
Visibility is a crucial indicator in our daily lives and various production activities. From the safe takeoff and landing of aircraft in the aviation field to the navigation of ships in the vast ocean; from the smooth passage of vehicles on highways to the precise analysis of weather phenomena in me...
How to measure "visibility"?I. Visual Estimation MethodThis is a rather traditional and simple approach. Observers use their naked eyes to observe target objects. For example, during the day, they select mountains, buildings, etc. that have a sharp contrast in color and shape with the back...
