This shore-based micro weather sensor is equipped with a 6-in-1 integrated sensor, enabling accurate simultaneous measurement of six meteorological parameters: wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, and optical rainfall.
Ultrasonic technology is used for wind speed and wind direction measurement.
Professional diode junction voltage method and capacitive measurement principle are applied for temperature and humidity detection, respectively.
Atmospheric pressure is measured based on the piezoresistive principle, while the optical rainfall sensor focuses on rainfall monitoring.
The 6-in-1 integrated design makes the device compact, reducing the required installation space and lowering maintenance difficulty.
To help people predict atmospheric transparency in advance, the weather sensor is equipped with a 10-kilometer visibility detector. Designed based on the principle of aerosol forward scattering, the detector works as follows: the transmitter emits infrared light of a specific wavelength, the receiver captures the forward-scattered light from a specific volume of atmosphere, converts it into an electrical signal, and after processing and calculation, the visibility value is obtained. This detector provides stable and reliable atmospheric visibility data for relevant personnel, which is of great significance both for ship navigation and for shore-based workers to assess environmental conditions.
In terms of power supply, the dual-power mode (municipal power + solar power) provides solid support for the device’s stable operation.
When municipal power is available, the device can be directly connected to municipal power to ensure stable operation.
In remote shore areas where municipal power is difficult to access, the solar power supply system comes into play. The solar charging panel equipped with the weather sensor efficiently collects solar energy, converts it into electrical energy, and stores it to maintain the device’s normal operation.
This dual-power mode greatly improves the device’s applicability, freeing it from excessive restrictions of geographical location and power supply conditions, allowing it to conduct continuous and stable meteorological monitoring in various shore environments.
