The BeiDou Ecological Environment Monitoring Station integrates BeiDou-3 regional short message communication with meteorological sensing technology to achieve continuous 24-hour automatic monitoring of meteorological elements in areas with no or weak signal coverage. The equipment uses an integrated eight-element sensor to observe wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, optical rainfall, total radiation, and negative oxygen ions in real time, outputting all parameters at once through a digital interface.
The BeiDou Ecological Environment Monitoring Station is a new type of automated monitoring equipment that combines BeiDou-3 regional short message communication technology with meteorological and environmental monitoring technology. This equipment possesses core functions such as autonomous operation, real-time transmission, intelligent monitoring, and accurate forecasting, enabling uninterrupted 24/7 monitoring of meteorological and environmental changes, effectively solving the environmental monitoring problem in areas where traditional communication networks cannot cover. Currently, BeiDou automatic weather stations have been widely deployed throughout China, providing crucial data support for weather forecasting and environmental early warning.
Compared to traditional ultrasonic weather stations, the Beidou ecological environment monitoring station overcomes the reliance on high-precision timers, effectively avoiding measurement errors caused by sensor start-up delays, demodulation circuit delays, and temperature variations. Traditional ultrasonic weather stations often face the problem of decreased ranging accuracy under extreme temperature conditions, while this product significantly improves the stability and accuracy of data acquisition through optimized sensor circuit design and signal processing algorithms.
This equipment innovatively adopts an eight-element integrated sensor architecture, integrating ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, atmospheric pressure sensors, optical rainfall sensors, total radiation sensors, and negative oxygen ion sensors into one unit. This integrated design not only simplifies equipment installation and maintenance but also reduces the risk of signal interference when multiple sensors work together. The equipment can observe the above eight meteorological parameters in real time, achieving 24-hour continuous online monitoring of outdoor meteorological parameters, and outputs all parameters to the user terminal at once through a digital communication interface.
At the communication level, the BeiDou ecological environment monitoring station, relying on the regional short message function of the BeiDou-3 system, can complete data transmission in remote mountainous areas, deserts, and islands without terrestrial communication network coverage. Short message communication features low power consumption and high reliability, and combined with the equipment's built-in power management system, it can ensure long-term stable operation of the monitoring station under unattended conditions. After the data is transmitted back to the central station, it can be further integrated into meteorological forecasting models and environmental early warning systems, providing timely and accurate on-site meteorological information for decision-making departments.
From an application perspective, the BeiDou ecological environment monitoring station is suitable for multiple fields, including ecological meteorological monitoring in nature reserves, rainfall observation for flood control in water conservancy, meteorological early warning for major transportation routes, environmental sensing in agricultural planting, and negative oxygen ion monitoring in tourist attractions. The integrated design and standardized digital interfaces of the equipment enable rapid integration into existing meteorological observation networks, reducing the complexity of system integration and subsequent operation and maintenance. As the BeiDou system application ecosystem continues to mature, the coverage and data service capabilities of this type of equipment in the field of environmental monitoring will continue to improve.
