By integrating BeiDou-3 short-message communication with meteorological monitoring technology, these stations provide continuous, 24-hour data collection across eight key meteorological and environmental parameters. Overcoming the limitations of areas with no network or weak signals, and featuring high precision and robust protection, they offer reliable data support for national meteorological early warning systems and environmental management efforts.
These stations are domestically developed, automated meteorological and environmental monitoring units. They combine BeiDou-3 regional short-message communication with modern monitoring technologies, effectively addressing the technical and operational shortcomings of traditional equipment and making them suitable for diverse, complex outdoor environments. Traditional ultrasonic weather stations often suffer from data inaccuracies caused by sensor startup delays, circuit demodulation errors, or ambient temperature fluctuations; furthermore, their heavy reliance on terrestrial network signals renders them unsuitable for remote areas with poor or no connectivity. The BeiDou environmental monitoring station offers targeted solutions to these industry pain points.
By eliminating reliance on high-precision timers, the station avoids data errors at the technical source. It features an integrated "eight-element" sensor capable of simultaneously monitoring eight core parameters—ultrasonic wind speed and direction, air temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, optical rainfall, total solar radiation, and negative oxygen ions. Complete monitoring data is output via a digital communication interface in a single transmission, significantly enhancing monitoring efficiency and data integrity. Structurally, the device employs a concealed ultrasonic probe design beneath the top cover to prevent interference from accumulated snow or rain and wind obstruction. It is paired with a two-meter carbon steel mount, ensuring a simple, efficient installation process that allows for direct sleeve-style mounting without the need for flanges.
The sensor housing is constructed from imported ASA material, achieving an IP65 or higher protection rating. This ensures effective resistance against harsh conditions—such as salt spray, wind, rain, and temperature extremes—enabling stable, long-term operation in the field. Leveraging the advantages of BeiDou-3 short-message communication, the device operates independently of terrestrial public networks, facilitating continuous autonomous monitoring and real-time data transmission. This effectively resolves environmental monitoring challenges in signal-deprived areas such as mountainous regions, forests, and maritime zones. This equipment has currently been widely deployed across many regions nationwide, consistently providing accurate, continuous, and stable foundational data for weather forecasting, environmental early warning, and ecological management; it serves as a core device for comprehensive, high-precision environmental monitoring.
