Suction-Type Insect Trap utilizes an insect-attracting light source to lure mosquitoes; a fan then generates negative pressure to draw the mosquitoes into a collection chamber, where they are air-dried and eliminated. This method is effective regardless of the insect's size. The device operates in dual modes—light-controlled and timer-controlled—and functions normally even in rainy weather, making it widely applicable in outdoor settings such as agriculture, forestry, and horticulture.
Suction-Type Insect Trap is highly effective at killing mosquitoes. By combining an insect-attracting light source with negative-pressure air suction technology, the device capitalizes on the mosquitoes' phototactic nature (attraction to light). At night, a light source emitting specific wavelengths attracts nearby flying mosquitoes toward the unit. Subsequently, the negative-pressure airflow generated by the fan draws the mosquitoes into the collection chamber, where the continuous airflow causes them to dehydrate and die. This method of pest control is effective regardless of insect size and can simultaneously capture a variety of flying pests—including mosquitoes, moths, and flies—thereby achieving comprehensive elimination of insects both large and small.
Suction-Type Insect Trap demonstrates remarkable efficacy in capturing mosquitoes. As insects with strong flight capabilities and extensive ranges, mosquitoes are easily lured by the insect-attracting light source during their nocturnal activity periods; once they enter the fan's effective suction range, they are immediately swept into the collection chamber by the airflow. Compared to traditional electric-grid mosquito zappers, this air-suction device features no high-voltage grid and generates no electrical sparks, offering superior safety. Consequently, it is well-suited for use in outdoor areas frequented by people as well as in environments where flammability is a concern. The collection chamber features a sealed design, preventing captured mosquitoes from escaping; as the fan operates continuously, the trapped insects gradually air-dry, thereby preventing the decomposition of carcasses and the subsequent proliferation of bacteria.
In terms of operation modes, Suction-Type Insect Trap offers two distinct working methods: light-controlled and timer-controlled. In light-controlled mode, the device automatically switches its light on or off based on ambient light levels; it turns off during the day to enter standby mode and automatically switches on at night to enter active operation. The duration of this active period can be configured via the system settings. In timer-controlled mode, users can specify precise operating time slots; the device will automatically switch on and run during the designated periods, and automatically switch off outside of those times. In both modes, the device retains its communication capabilities, allowing users to monitor its operational status via a remote management platform. The device features a waterproof design; both its housing and internal circuitry are sealed, allowing it to operate normally even in rainy weather and ensuring continuous pest control capabilities over multiple consecutive days.
Suction-Type Insect Trap is widely utilized in the integrated pest management of agriculture, forestry, horticulture, and related fields. In crop cultivation areas—such as orchards, vegetable gardens, and rice paddies—the device effectively controls populations of mosquitoes and moth-like pests, thereby reducing the reliance on chemical pesticides and meeting the requirements for eco-friendly pest control. In outdoor recreational settings—including courtyards, homestays, and campsites—Suction-Type Insect Trap actively draws surrounding flying mosquitoes into a collection chamber, significantly reducing the nuisance caused by mosquito bites. By combining insect-attracting light sources with negative-pressure suction technology, Suction-Type Insect Trap achieves highly efficient capture of mosquitoes and other flying pests, establishing itself as an effective tool within green pest and disease control systems.
